OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

To improve the conditions for the sustainable and integrated development of culture, cultural tourism, and the creative industries as a driver of economic growth in Blagoevgrad Municipality and for enhancing the quality of life of its residents.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

1. Renovation of cultural infrastructure through the introduction of energy efficiency measures in support of the green transition.
2. Modernization of the facilities of Drama Theatre “Nikola Vaptsarov” – Blagoevgrad, creating modern working conditions and improving comfort, accessibility, and interaction with visitors and audiences.
3. Creating modern conditions for high-quality non-formal education, internships, and student practical training aimed at developing skills and preparing qualified professionals for the sector.
4. Improving the socio-economic conditions for professional development in the cultural sector and creating new jobs in the renovated buildings.
5. Improving access to culture and the arts for vulnerable groups and disadvantaged people.
6. Improving cooperation among all stakeholders and strengthening networking.

PLANNED ACTIVITIES:

Activity 1. Introduction of energy efficiency measures in the building of Drama Theatre “Nikola Vaptsarov” – Blagoevgrad.
Activity 2. Renovation and modernization of the building of Drama Theatre “Nikola Vaptsarov” – Blagoevgrad.
Activity 3. Introduction of energy efficiency measures in the storage and production facility for stage sets of Dramatic Theatre “Nikola Vaptsarov” – Blagoevgrad.
Activity 4. Renovation and modernization of the stage-set facility of Drama Theatre “Nikola Vaptsarov” – Blagoevgrad and its transformation into a multicultural centre for culture and the arts.
Activity 5. Project organization and management, and measures for visibility, transparency, and communication.
Activity 6. Cooperation among all stakeholders and networking.

Site 1: Building of Drama Theatre “Nikola Vaptsarov” – Blagoevgrad.
Site 2: Storage and production facility for stage sets of Drama Theatre “Nikola Vaptsarov” – Blagoevgrad.
