TEODOR KARAKACHANOV was born on December 6, 1999, in Sozopol. He graduated in "Acting for Drama Theatre" from the "Krastyo Sarafov" National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in the class of Prof. Snezhina Tankovska in 2022. He graduated with the roles of Pyotr Verkhovensky and Bishop Tikhon in "Demons" by Albert Camus, directed by Professor Snezhina Tankovska (2021); Prince Hettore Gonzaga in "Emilia Galotti" by Gotthold Lessing, directed by Petar Denchev (2021); and Peter Gynt in "Peter Gynt" by David Hare, directed by Boyan Arsov (2022). After graduating, he performed on the stage of the Drama Theater "Stoyan Bachvarov" in Varna, and since September 2024 he is part of the ensemble of "Nikola Vaptsarov" -Blagoevgrad

His roles in the theatre include:

• Erysichthon in "Metamorphoses" by Ovid, stage adaptation by Mary Zimmerman, director Stayko Murdjev (2023);
• Kochkarev in "The Wedding" by N. V. Gogol, director Rostislav Georgev (2025);

His roles outside "Nikola Vaptsarov" Drama Theatre include:

• Samael/Steve in Poker Night by Tennessee Williams, directed by Kasiel Noah-Asher (Azaryan Theatre, 2021);
• Erhart Borkman in John Gabriel Borkman by Henrik Ibsen, directed by Plamen Markov (Theatre and Music Center - Varna, 2023);
• Judas and John the Baptist in "The Last Temptation of the Christ" by Nikos Kazandzakis (Theatre and Music Center - Varna, 2024) and others.
