Prolet Trifonova-Petkova was born on July 5, 1987. In 2010, she graduated with a degree in Cultural Studies from South-West University "Neofit Rilski". She earned a Master's degree in Lifestyle Journalism from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", and subsequently defended her Ph.D. in Theory and History of Culture at South-West University "Neofit Rilski". She is a professional with extensive experience in culture, public communications, and administration, bringing over 15 years of practice in organizing cultural events, policy development, and managing institutional processes. Her career began in the theater sector as a manager and marketing coordinator, focusing on cultural events, festivals, and working with young talent in the private sector. She went on to hold expert positions at the Municipality of Blagoevgrad, building expertise in PR, media relations, and cultural policy. She held executive roles in the Culture department, serving as head of department and Deputy Mayor for Culture and Humanitarian Activities, where her responsibilities included strategic planning, coordination of cultural institutions, and the management of large-scale public events. She also has experience at the national level as a Senior Expert in the Performing Arts and Arts Education Directorate at the Ministry of Culture, participating in the development of policies, regulations, and programs in the performing arts. Currently, she serves as the Director of the "Nikola Vaptsarov" Drama Theater – Blagoevgrad.
