"Everyone is striving for what is not worth having."

"Vanity Fair" is a play based on the classic novel of the same name by William Makepeace Thackeray. It is about the story of Becky Sharp – a young girl from a poor family who claws her way up into high society. She is everything opposite to the romantic heroines of great love stories – she is cunning, calculating, amusing, and self-assured, stopping at nothing to achieve her dreams. But do those dreams deserve the price?

The contemporary staging by director Margarita Macheva introduces us to a young cast of actors who, in an exceptionally engaging and spectacular manner, tell the classic tale of vanity in a world where everyone strives for what is not worth having.
