The first evening of the festival began with a concert by the talented students from the "Presto" Music School and actors from the theatre, who

captivated the audience with their performances and created a festive atmosphere.

The festival was inaugurated with speeches by Metodi Baikushev, Mayor of Blagoevgrad Municipality; Ilko Ganev, Deputy Minister of Culture; and Margarita Macheva, Director of the Nikola Vaptsarov Drama Theatre in Blagoevgrad.

In the play Romeo and Juliet, directed by Staiko Murdjev, the actors from the Plovdiv Drama Theatre succeeded in bringing Shakespeare's timeless love story to life with unmatched emotion and passion.

The evening concluded with an inspiring discussion following the performance, where the audience had the opportunity to speak with the actors and the director. We discussed themes of love and the modern interpretation of the classic work.
