After a short summer break the Drama Theatre "N. Vaptsarov" returns with an exciting new theatre season.

The 28th edition of the Autumn International Theatre Festival "Stage at the Crossroads" will take place from 10th to 21th September in Plovdiv, presenting some of the best performances from the past creative season. We are happy that the Drama Theatre - Blagoevgrad has also been selected with the brilliant performance "Metamorphoses" by Ovid, directed by Stayko Murdzhev.

On September 24th, actors Kalin Vrachanski, Stanka Kalcheva, Radena Valkanova, and Hristina Djurova will be part of this year's edition of the Autumn Theater Salon in the city of Sliven with the play "Doubt" by John Patrick Shanley (directed by Stayko Murdzhev).

The first premiere of the season will feature one of the most iconic works of Bulgarian literature—"The Iron Candlestick" by Dimitar Talev. The classic novel comes to life on stage under the masterful direction of Kalin Angelov and the theater troupe's actors. The premiere of the production will take place on October 9th

Another piece of happy news for the theater is that the production "Doubt" will participate in the 44th edition of the "Borini Theater Days" in the city of Vranje, Serbia. The international festival will host guests from Bulgaria, Serbia, and Croatia.
